How this calculator works
Corrected reticulocyte percentage = reticulocyte % x patient hematocrit/reference hematocrit. RPI = corrected percentage/maturation factor. Both reference hematocrit and maturation factor are explicitly supplied; no unsupported stepwise factor is silently assigned.
When to use this calculator
Use as an approximate assessment of marrow response to anemia with a specified reference hematocrit and maturation convention. These corrections are not direct measurements of erythrocyte production.

Reticulocyte production index using supplied assumptions. Corrected reticulocyte percentage = 3.3333%. RPI divides this by the selected maturation factor 2. This is not an absolute reticulocyte count.
