Cardiovascular Risk PROCAM Score Calculator

Cardiovascular Risk PROCAM Score Calculator for Endocrinology. The endpoint is fatal/nonfatal myocardial infarction or acute coronary death, not total CVD or stroke. The historical table describes cohort-based estimates and does not establish contemporary personal prognosis or treatment eligibility.

For shared guidance on choosing a tool and documenting results, read the clinical calculator workflow.

How this calculator works

This is an external-score interpreter. It maps an already established original 2002 PROCAM point total to the historical Table 4 estimate; it does not calculate the total from a reproduced questionnaire or implement the current PROCAM online engine.

When to use this calculator

For historical interpretation of an authorized original score in the original population: men aged 35-65 without a prior coronary event. The supplied total must include all eight domains, including systolic blood pressure.

Inputs used

  • Externally established original 2002 eight-domain total (integer 0-87)
  • Confirmation of original edition and source population

Clinical interpretation

The endpoint is fatal/nonfatal myocardial infarction or acute coronary death, not total CVD or stroke. The historical table describes cohort-based estimates and does not establish contemporary personal prognosis or treatment eligibility.

Worked example

An externally established total of 53 maps to 19.6% ten-year acute coronary-event risk in the historical table; 54 maps to 21.7%. Totals at most 20 are reported as below 1%, and totals at least 60 as at least 30%, not invented exact probabilities.

Limitations and safety notes

The official online tests prohibit commercial use. Their software, forms and newer models are not reproduced here. Original total-score interpretation is a narrower workflow, not restoration of the missing full input model. Other editions, women, out-of-range populations and unknown score provenance are rejected. No licensing clearance or independent clinical signoff is claimed.

Frequently asked questions

Can a current online PROCAM percentage be entered as points?

No. A percentage or newer model output is not the original eight-domain total.

Where is the missing blood-pressure domain?

It must be included by the external original scoring source. This page no longer offers an incomplete seven-domain calculator.
