Worked example

A same-version change from 4.8 to 3.6 is a decrease of 1.2. A change from DAS28-ESR 4.8 to DAS28-CRP 3.6 cannot be assumed to show the same clinical improvement. The score does not inspect the joint findings.

Limitations and safety notes

The supported entry interval is not proof that every conceivable formula output must lie within it. Verify out-of-range reports at the source rather than clamping. No generic treatment escalation or remission decision is produced.
