How this calculator works
For an already prescribed oral dose, single-dose mg = dosing weight in kg x prescribed mg/kg per dose. Multiply by the planned equal doses and add other same-ingredient exposure for the 24-hour total. Divide each dose by the actual stock concentration for mL or units. Both prescribed maxima remain visible checks, not automatic caps.

Worked example
Fictional prescription check: 20 kg at an already ordered 12.5 mg/kg per dose gives 250 mg. Three equal doses give 750 mg/24 h when there is no other exposure. A 250 mg/5 mL liquid gives 5 mL per dose. Entered limits of 300 mg per dose and 1000 mg/day are example inputs, not suggested limits.
